Hello World! My name is Yubin Cai, a.k.a Micah. I am an electrical engineer who loves tinkering with new tech and making stuffs.

I am currently a 4th-year MS/ PhD at MIT! I am working on nanoelectronics for deep brain stimulation and biological signal detection. Formerly, I was an MRI engineering project lead developer at the Han Laboratory in the Cedars-Sinai Biomedical Imaging Research Institute (BIRI). My primary role was to provide electromagnetics expertise and circuit development for next-gen MRI hardware.

I received my B.S. (17') and Master's (19') from UCLA. I worked for Prof. Rahmat-Samii primarily on a project funded by the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL). We created an electrically small loop antenna for a 0.8-10MHz broadband dielectric spectrometer that detects water on Mars.

May the Maxwell's Equations Be with You.
